Explanations

Frostproofness
Frostproofness is determined by the degree of absorption of the tile (i.e, it doesn't absorb water that could freeze in it). For tiles for interior use, frost resistance is not required and the absorption rate is usually more than 10%. In contrast, frost-resistant glazed tiles have a water absorption of up to 3%. Sintered tiles with a water absorption of less than 0.5% are then suitable for exteriors.

Slinute Tiles
By pressing into the moulds under high pressure, minimal air bubbles remain in the ceramic material. It is then fired at high temperatures, making the final product hard, strong and abrasion resistant. At the same time, it is less absorbent.
It is universally used indoors and outdoors, on walls and floors. Clinker tiles are particularly suitable for high-stress areas such as paving or building facades.

Use of glazed tiles according to abrasion resistance:
Grade PEI IV. - designed for more intense pedestrian traffic and heavier soiling (e.g. Interior areas of administrative buildings and hotel corridors, commercial rooms and offices)
Pavement
Pavers suitable for laying on the floor (= as tiles), can also be used for wall cladding.

Matte surface
Matte glaze tile.
