HOW DOES A THERMOSTATIC BATTERY WORK?
The thermostatic faucet is factory set to a water temperature of 38°C. When the water is turned on by turning the lever on the body of the faucet to the left, water at 38°C will flow. If you want the water cooler, just turn the handle to the right. If you want the water warmer, you need to press the safety lock on the handle and then turn towards the left. The water flow is controlled by a lever on the body of the tap. You choose whether the water will flow from the head or hand shower by using the switch located on the column.
The faucet is factory set and tested at 3 bar pressure at both inlets. Under these conditions, faucet performance is optimal with any type of water heating.
With pressures above 5 bar, we recommend installing a pressure reducing valve.
